Located in England, Stonehenge, also known as the Stone Circle, consists of several dozen stones arranged in a circular pattern. It has stood for thousands of years, yet its purpose of construction remains unknown. Some important positions within Stonehenge seem to align with the position of the rising sun during the summer solstice, but whether it served as a calendar or a temple dedicated to the sun god remains unaswered.
